A modern injector meters fuel through holes finer than a human hair, at pressures no engine of the 1990s ever saw. A deposit far too small to see is enough to spoil the spray pattern, and it builds a little with every tank.

Detergents lift the sticky varnish and carbon off injectors, carburettors and intake valves, restoring the spray pattern the engine was designed for.
A clean, fine spray of fuel lights more evenly. That is what you feel as crisper throttle response, less hesitation from cold and fewer misfires under load.
Less unburnt fuel means less soot loading the DPF and less work for the catalyst. That helps at the emissions test, and it helps the two parts you would least like to replace.
One dose at fill-up needs no training, no workshop slot and no change to the routine. Across a hundred vans the numbers speak for themselves: a treated tank costs about a euro, an injector service costs far more.
Two cars of the same age can have fuel systems in completely different condition. What separates them is not mileage, it is the kind of miles.

School run, supermarket, ten minutes to the office. The engine barely reaches temperature, the fuel system never gets the chance to run itself clean, and deposits build faster here than anywhere else.

A motorway run burns hotter and more completely, which helps. What it will not do is undo what three months of cold, short journeys already left behind on the injectors.
Ethanol pulls moisture straight out of the air. Leave a tank part-full for a few weeks and it can drop out as a wet layer on the bottom: the classic reason a car that has stood idles rough and starts hard.
Fuelnox holds that moisture in the fuel as microscopic droplets instead of letting it separate. In the cylinder they flash to steam and burst, breaking the fuel around them into a finer spray, and the water leaves with the exhaust.
Taking the sulphur out of diesel took its natural lubricity with it. The pump and injectors that sulphur used to cushion now run on fuel that no longer does the job.
Fuelnox puts lubricity back, easing the friction where the injection pump and injector needles meet the fuel they are supposed to be protected by.

Car, motorbike, van or truck, petrol or diesel, it is the same bottle and the same dose. Pack sizes run from a 250 ml bottle for a single car up to 25 L and 210 L containers for a depot.
It comes down to two doses: a stronger first treatment, then a light top-up at every fill-up. Overdosing will not harm the engine.
About 20 ml per 40 litres of fuel. Add Fuelnox first, then refuel so it mixes evenly as the tank fills. Repeat where contamination is heavy.
About 10 ml per 40 litres at each refuel or regular interval. A single 500 ml bottle conditions up to 2,000 litres of fuel.
Results vary with engine, fuel and operating conditions. For petrol, diesel and two-stroke fuel systems. Not for aviation fuels.
